My final veredict on last weekends WalMart purchases

Last weekend i had the priviledge of finding myself at  Wal-Mart where i  managed to score a few products i had been meaning to try. As the week went by i  had the chance to try a few of the products  and needless to say i am more than ready to give my personal thoughts and advice.

 Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio in Fierce & Tangy
I am going to have to start with sadly my least favorite product and the product i was looking forward to the most.This product truly disappointed me, reason being -the color pigmentation. Being a "color tattoo" I expected this product to be a much more fiercer orange than it really is. Did it last all 24 hours? I dont think so, plus i saw some creasing. The creasing might be due to my oily complexion so your results may differ.Will i try to work with it as a base? Yes, i definently will. Will I buy another shade? Probably not.
FINAL VEREDICT: Dislike

Rimmel London Volume Flash SCANDAL EYES MascaraI bought this item with big expectations because i am an avid Rimmel mascara user. My first try i wasnt so impressed and the wand seemed huge! I had my doubts. Then on the second try i started to warm up to it, then today i used it once more and i decided i liked it! I actually tried a different tactic when i applied it today. I opened the tube and started from the base of my lashes up a few times without dipping the wand back in the tube and waiting a few seconds in between coats. This worked wonders and im extremely happy i went ahead and purchased this product.Will i buy it again? Definently!
FINAL VEREDICT: Love!

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes
For this product i purchased two shades, ( Peach Satin and Plum Wine )unfortunantly i have only tried Peach Satin. The reason for the purchase of this product was the great reviews i had read in various blogs. I must agree that these blushes come in stunning colors and last all day. i love that they are creamy and you only need apply very little.  Will I go back and get me a few more shades? Of course!
FINAL VEREDICT: Love! 

Clean &Clear Pore Perfecting Moisturizer
This last item is a moisturizer. I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF when i spotted this one and decided to give it try. Soo im totally in love with it!This product leaves your facer super soft and ready for either the start of the day or to start your makeup routine. Plus it has an awesome cleant scent. FINAL VEREDICT: Love it!

A little trip to CVS .... total success!!!

Like promised on my last post, I went to CVS to checkout if this Milani sale was still going and to my surprise not only were the Milani products on sale but so were a bunch of others! Looks like throughout the beauty department certain items were marked with 50% or 75% off stickers! I managed to find me Maybelline's Mineral Powder foundation in Sandy Beige with SPF 18 for $4.99 when usually it runs around $9.99 depending where you purchase it.There weren't many items left but what i purchased was totally worth the $19.15 I spent. All of the items I purchased from Milani were under $3 so basically i went a little makeup crazy, good thing i left my ATM card at home or i would still be down there! Ladies I suggest you take a trip down to CVS and see what other goodies are on sale! Go, Go, Go before everything is gone!

WalMart Makeup Quick Trip

So today I went to WalMart and I bought a few makeup items i have been meaning to try...



Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes
Iam really excited to try this product because i have read really good reviews and the colors are amazing! On this trip to WalMart I purchased two colors Peach Satin and Plum Wine both gorgeous shades for med-dark skin tones. This go for $6.44 each at WalMart although i hear Walgreens has a BOGO special.



Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio
My friend was totally excited about this product so she went and bought a few if not all the colors available and was super excited with the results. The packaging promises 24 hour wear which my friend and fellow makeup junkie swears is true. WalMart did not have much of a selection for this product so i just purchased Fierce & Tangy at $5.84.

Clean &Clear Pore Perfecting Moisturizer
All real makeup pros should know that moisturizer is really important when it comes to your beauty regime as is SPF. This Clean & Clear product is not only a moisturizer but also a pore perfecter with an SPF 15! I definitely had to buy this item, i needed a moisturizer anyway plus its oil-free perfect for my skin type.  By the way the price on this product was $6.97.

Rimmel London Volume Flash SCANDAL EYES Mascara
  i had originally seen this display  at Walgreens for $7.49, which i thought was a bit steep for a Rimmel product. So today I found it at WalMart for a little cheaper ,$5.47.


I have yet to try any of these products but I will first thing in the morning to prep for work! I will be back with my own personal reviews! Also, tomorrow i will be shopping CVS for possibly products on sale ! FYI i was told KMART is having a $1 clearance on a few Milani items! Lotz to do tommorrow!!Much Luv and good night!

DIY Face scrubs

If you're too lazy like i am  and don't want to read all of that, basically what this is is a brown sugar and honey face scrub. I have tried this but used olive oil instead (do not try with olive oil if your skin is oily bad combo!) Its an awesome face scrub to remove all the dead skin on the surface.
***All you need is a little bowl, brown sugar and honey. Add between a teaspoon to a tablespoon of brown sugar and a teaspoon to a tablespoon of honey (more if you want to use on the rest of your body) in a bowl and mix.

Anyone know of anymore fabulous DIY face scrubs or masks please let us know!!! Have an awesome night ladies and get your beauty sleep!
