Dont get it twisted! Polo Association vs. Ralph Lauren's Polo

Ok soo today I made a huge discovery! Well a huge discovery that i wasnt aware of that is...lol. So today after work i decided to go browse at a local clothing store.As some of you know i will be attending a wedding in a few weeks so i must be prepared for travelling and well as the product freak that i am i knew i needed a purse, a big purse that is. So here i was browsing for over an hour, my feet killing me (after an 8 hour shift whose feet wont hurt,right?) when i found three perfect purses, i know three! i was very tempted in taking them all with me but i held on and just purchased one. A black beautiful Polo Association purse perfect for my travelling dilema. I paid the cashier and off i went .So i got home and after a short nap looked through my purchases to find out that the purse i had bought thinking it was a Polo purse wasnt a polo purse, i mean it was...but it wasnt! I mean it had Polo on the price tag and the logo was the same right?? lol Let me explain myself...the tag (that did not read, of course) clearly explained that Polo Association had nothing to do with Polo as in Ralph Lauren's Polo....and well the logo's are not the same, similar, but not the same. ahhh clearer now?? No wonder i thought i had purchased it extremely cheap! So nosy as i am i went on line and found out that Polo Association was being sued by Ralph Lauren due to this little mishap of mistaken logos. Ralph Lauren claims that his customers might confuse the two separate brands...and boy is he on the money! I totally confused the two....good thing is i did not get ripped off because at least it wasnt a made up on the streets brand....lol

On your far right you have the U.S.P.A logo (which is the silhouette of two polo players) and on your right we have Ralph Lauren's worlwide known logo of a single polo player. Interesting isnt it?? So next time your at the mall dont get it twisted if your goal has to do with either of them!

IMATS (International Makeup Artists Trade Show)

Who is going to this years IMATS show???Ok so my friend Maria and I have been saying we are going to this show forever now and for some reason or another we dont but this year we are definently going!!! Anyone else going? Im super excited because im sure its going to be heaven on earth for us makeup freaks!  Ladies start saving up! Admission is only $40!! Soo if anyone else is going i hope to see you there!!I have included the dates and info at the bottom of this post.

A Visit to Rite Aid

Sooo the other day my friend ( who is always keeping me in the loop about sales! thank God!) told me that there was a sale at Rite Aid a lot like the sale CVS was having. I did not get a chance to visit until this past Tuesday and sure enough many many things were 75% off or buy one get one half off, throughout the store not just the makeup department. There wasnt a lot of makeup selection left because like i said i went a little late. I only visited one Rite Aid so there is a huge chance the other Rite Aids might have a larger selection. I did see a lot of nailpolishes for sale. I am not much of a nailpolish freak but i did find cute colors and a Sally Hansen manicure kit that i got for $2.12! Soo if you get a chance to stop by your closest Rite Aid see what they have on sale and let us know if any of the products are worth paying regular price for!
